Panizzi Vernaccia di San Gimignano

San Gimignano is a hill town located in Tuscany, southwest of Florence, and is known for its beautiful landscape and medieval towers. It is also the home of Tuscany's only DOCG white wine, Vernaccia. Vernaccia di San Gimignano is one of Italy's oldest and most noble white wines dating back to 1276. While they are passionate about conserving the long and impressive history of Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Panizzi is also looking toward the future by farming sustainably. Beginning with the 2020 vintage, all their wines are 100% organically certified. Production protocols are all based on respect for the consumer and the environment. No chemical fertilizers, herbicides, or harmful pesticides are used. Stewardship of human resources is also of prime importance; they have adopted hands-on vine tending and have minimized mechanical use in their vineyards. Extreme importance is given to the age of the vines. Letting them grow according to their natural rhythms, they reach much more advanced ages, spreading roots in depth.

We’re excited to share this classic wine with you. After pouring a glass, you’ll be graced with an enticing floral fragrance and stone fruit flavors. Golden in color, Vernaccia is a dry, full-body, and high-acid wine that pairs beautifully with seafood, chicken, pork, and grilled vegetables. Stop in and try a bottle of Panizzi Vernaccia di San Gimignano and see what Tuscans call 'the wine of Kings.' It truly is a royal experience.
