We are thrilled to celebrate a new artist showing here in the shop! TJ Evans is a local artist who has been passionate about art since childhood. He has spent countless hours studying and honing his craft. He creates one-of-a-kind works of art, which will be shown and for sale from February 14th through March 31st.
Kick off your Saturday evening with us at Piazza Discepoli! Join us before you head out for the night to enjoy art, light charcuterie snacks, and wines. We’re excited to host this opening reception on Saturday, February 15th from 3-6pm. Stop in and speak with the artist, TJ Evans will be here talking about his art and answering any questions. There is no charge for attending, but please RSVP using the button below.
Gourmet Updates
Valentine’s Day is this Friday! Love shows itself in so many different forms. Valentine’s is a great time to show our love and appreciation for the special people in our lives. From partners and spouses to family and friends, why not show your gratitude with food? Brie and soft-ripened cheeses are a natural match with all those Valentine’s chocolates because of their velvety texture and shared sweet nature. Our Vacherousse d’Argental and Le Fromager d’Affinois are both perfectly creamy and ready for any Valentine’s gifting or snacking you’ll be doing. Share it with your Galentines, your date, or (as I like to do) enjoy it with a bottle of bubbles and the latest episode of whatever show you’re currently obsessing over.

Wines
Domaine Juliette Avril Cuvee Mailys is a distinguished wine that beautifully captures the essence of the Rhône Valley's rich viticultural heritage. This exquisite cuvée is named after Juliette Avril, a passionate winemaker dedicated to producing wines that reflect the unique terroir and traditions of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The Cuvee Mailys is a harmonious blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, showcasing a deep, ruby-red color and an aromatic bouquet of ripe red fruits, spices, and hints of earthy undertones. On the palate, it offers a perfect balance of elegance and intensity, with silky tannins and a long, refined finish. This wine is not only a testament to the skill and dedication of its makers but also a delightful representation of the timeless charm and complexity of Rhône Valley wines. We were lucky enough to host Stephan Brun, grandson of Juliette Avril here at the shop for a quick tasting! He was an extremely convivial and engaging guest and we were able to taste a selection of Juliette Avril’s fantastic wines.
