Wines

Neu Cellars Vidal Blanc is grown in the Old Mission Peninsula of Michigan and is an exquisite wine that captivates with its vibrant and refreshing character. This is one of the very few varietals that are native to the Midwest, and this is a distinctive representation of it. This wine, crafted from the unique, and very limited production, Vidal Blanc grape, is known for its bright acidity and delightful aromatic profile, featuring notes of citrus, pear, quince, green apple, and tropical fruits. The wine's crisp and clean finish and bracing acidity make it a versatile choice, perfect for pairing with light dishes such as seafood, salads, and soft cheeses.

Neu Cellars’ commitment to quality and meticulous winemaking techniques ensures that each bottle of Vidal Blanc offers a memorable tasting experience. Only one barrel was produced for this vintage. At Neu Cellars, everything is spontaneously fermented, meaning only native yeast and native bacteria that exist on the grapes and in the cellar environment produce the wine. There are no additions or subtractions. If there were an ingredient label, it would read: grapes.

Are you looking for something special or specific? Please feel free to email Rob with any wine questions or needs at the link below or give us a call in the shop at 513-561-6956. We’re always happy to source something for you if we don’t currently carry it in the store.
